Comfort:
Here is where I feel the two pads are separated. Since the two surfaces are identical up to this point, this is where I draw the line.

Ratpadz Make Me Say
Love Hurts
Oh-So-Smooth
Oh-So-Smooth

As I tried to show above, the Ratpad hurts my wrist after a short time of fragging. The Giganta is very smooth and I actually enjoy sliding my wrists across it. That is the main reason I'm now using the Giganta. Not because I support big businesses and say "Screw the underdog." But, because the Giganta is more comfortable, plain and simple. Also, as a side note, you can buy gel wrist rests for the EverGlide which I find cool because you're not always doing the Q3A (well, close to all the time). So, when you're surfing and you want some comfort, you could just pop one of these little $7.95 gems and be surfing in style (hefty price tag though).

Well, I believe I've taken enough time describing the similarities and differences in these two pads. So, now comes my judgement. I'm for sure giving this my editor's choice award, but I am stuck on giving it a perfect score or a 4.5. Well, I gave the Ratpad a 5 despite its lack of originality. So, in all fairness and because this is a better pad...
