Without beating around the bush, a 1.5 to 1.0° C temperature drop is pretty substantial. In a less ventilated case (a case with out 3 extra blow holes) this temperature decrease could be more evident.

Did I waste $14 + shipping? No, I don't think so. Keeping my CPUs cooler keeps my system cooler and therefore protecting my investment. For your information, I am able to obtain 102, 104, and 106 MHz FSB with regular thermal paste. However, they are not stable. With the Arcitic Silver, 102 and 104 are now stable (can pass my torture test). 106 MHz is still a little flakey, but I'm working on that. I think I'm going to slap some under my little green chipset heatsink. Speaking of which, this could also be used to enhance video card chipsets cool. As long as the surface doesn't need the heatsink "stuck" to it (e.g. has some clips), you can greatly increase your cooling potential. I'll leave that to your imagination.

Bottom Line: For $19 I got cooler processors and a few more MHz. Just to note, there are many applications in one "tube." I'm not sure of the exact amount, but I would say for $19 you're going to get arond 8 to 12 applications. What do I rate the stuff? It's the best thermal paste on the market (in my opinion), I'll give it...
