The FSAA scores are really important with this card. Why? Because with the GeForce3 performance is very good. So, we want to work on image quality. The Prophet 3 offers (like all other GeForce 3's) 2x, Quincunx, and 4x Full Screen Anti-Aliasing. I only ran these tests at 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x1024 because 1600x1200 doesn't need FSAA.

Quake 3 Arena - Demo001 - Normal - FPS

As you can see, even at Normal, any FSAA over Quincunx at 1024x768 is the max. You might also notice that 2x and Quincunx are almost identical. You might be thinking that the two are the same, but they're not. Quincunx offers better image quality without a huge performance hit.

1024x768 with all the sliders maxed on Quincunx FSAA is quite a site to behold. I have some screen shots at the end of the review of the FSAA at 1024x768 at all FSAA levels. It really is a great site to behold.
