The MDK2 will give you a performance perspective from another game. The only part of the MDK2 tests that you need to be familar with in order the tests to make sense is the fact that the benchmark won't exceed 60fps. This has nothing to do with the card, but rather is implimented in game software. So, make sure you keep that in mind.

MDK2 - 16bit - (Max Texture Quality, Bilinear Filtering) - FPS

The Prophet 3 does not even drop a whole frame throughout all the resolutions! You can tell where GeForce 2's limited memory bandwidth start to choke it very easily here.


MDK2 - 32bit - (Max Texture Quality, Bilinear Filtering) - FPS

The new 3D Prophet shines a lot here. The card is barely even phased by the addition of 32bit color to the test. Now I'm going to move onto the synthetic tests, 3DMark 2001.
