Remember to hook up the fan to your power supply, I didnít at first and after 30 minutes you could tell the system was doing a good job of grabbing heat. You might need a ďYĒ splitter if you donít have any spare power connectors.

In testing I found that the pump is noisy when first turned on (about 36 dBA); but after one minute gets damn quiet (about 19dBA). The fan is pretty quiet and the cooling action provided is excellent. I could not chase all of the bubbles out of the system but that gives you something to look at.

On a special note, be sure to order the fittings of your reservoir epoxied instead of Teflon taped to avoid leakage. Overall, the MAZE3 is a pretty extreme kit and all of the kids on your street will worship you. [ed: I apologize for the following benchmarks. DCFlux did not compare the two coolers with relativity in mind (note: difference in clock speeds).]

The kit will run you around $220 US and can be purchased from Danger Den's Store. The MAZE3 Power Kit only loses a few points only because the instructions were not that clear. However, I have been informed that they have re-written their manual; so we can all expect good things form Danger Den in the future. Apparently, Danger Den has earned a bad reputation in the past for shipping delays, but I found this untrue as everything I ordered arrived in less than 3 days.

Be careful when unpacking the water block, I slipped and sent mine through the bosses glass table top and that just ruined my day, unpack the goods while sitting on the floor! Anyway, my thanks go out to Dan Stephens of Danger Den for providing this kit for review.

Overall Score for the Danger Den MAZE3 Power Kit:
