The OCZ Gladiator 3 is not a super cooler. Both fans are quiet and keep the noise down while keeping your CPU relatively cool. The heatsink is pleasant to look at with its purple shell/fan mount. With the LED fan it is nothing to kick out of bed either. The quiet fan kit would make a nice addition to an office computer or a "mom n' pop's" computer or any low noise environment. Both these versions have their place in the market. However, I would not say that place is in the high performance market.
Despite the less than spectacular performance, I rather like the heatsink overall. The clip is nice and the LED fan is pleasant to gander at. The clip is an important factor for me when evaluating a heatsink and the Gladiator 3 passes my quality standard with flying colors. So, if you're looking for something that is easy to install, this product is definitely one to consider.
When we contacted OCZ about manufactures suggested retail price (MSRP), they said they do not have a final number yet. However, they gave us an estimated range of $15 to $23 which will depend on the fan you order with the heatsink. A decent price on decent products deserve a decent score. However, I think the performance of the quiet fan was a little lacking despite its low noise production.
