The Game Den has a review on a cool helicopter combat simulation called KA-52: Team Alligator. The graphics aren't stellar but they rank up there. Thor (the reviewer) did not like a lot however and gave it 70%. Go see why, you might like it anyway.

They have a Thief II review also. Thief II is looking pretty cool and I almost picked it up yesterday until I realized that I had no money.

Intel is shorting tier 2 computer companies of Pentium III 1 GHz chips. It seems as if Intel cannot get enough of them made to supply more than the tier 1 companies. Apparently, these tier 2 companies are not having any problems getting 1GHz chips from AMD, and AMD 1GHz chips equally wanted. Read all about it at The Register.

ABIT announces Gentus Linux 2.0 today. ABIT reports many improvements to the operating system. They now have improved support for ATA/66 and added support for ATA/100. The cool part is that they added sound drivers for the Sound Blaster Live! series. I saved their email in HTML format so that you can see it in full detail. In the email you might notice a spot where they talk about their incorrect packaging. They released some CDs displaying Gentus 6.2 on the cover. It's semi-ironic in that, when I received the email this morning it say "ABIT Announces VT6X4 Motherboard."

Firing Squad has a "first look" at Red Alert 2! It looks a lot different. However, the game play is still the same style. The coolest part is that the whole thing is based on urban war fare! Yep, that means you can blow up the Statue of Liberty.

PC Hardware Romania has a review on a very interesting motherboard, the Elite Group's P6IWT-Me. It's interesting in that it's a microATX board and it has both a Socket 370 and Slot 1 interface! Cool. I might add it has 3 PCI slots and 1 AMR slot and that's it, no ISA, nothing.

Even though Coppermines have been out for a while now (in computer time), it is always nice to have many opinions to ponder over before making a purchase. iBXT Labs has review on a Coppermine 566 and if you were thinking about buying a CuMine and haven't made the decision to, this review could help you make up your mind .
