Sudhian.com has posted a review of a 3Dfx Voodoo5 6000. No, that is not a typo. It is actually kind of fun too look back and see what could have been had 3Dfx not left the business. This is a good read if you have some time to kill.

MSI NBox FX5900U-VTD256 Ultra |
WebMasterP
A MSI NBox FX5900U-VTD256 Ultra has been reviewed over at PCStats.com. The reviewer did a good job and it's worth a look if you are looking for a top of the line card.Gamers out there please note the exceptional performance of the GeForceFX 5900 Ultra in the Gun Metal 2 benchmarks - being the only DX9 game test able to show NV35 is faster than ATi's Radeon 9800 Pro. Great DirectX 9 support, that can't be bad, right?

TwistedMods.com has taken a look at a crazy looking case, the MountainMods U2-UFO Cube Chassis. It's really a cube and it has an excessive amount of fan mounts. This is must see.

Beyond3D.com (which I guess would be 4D?) has a review of the 256MB ATI Radeon 9800 PRO. If ATI isn't your thing for some reason, or you want a cheaper, not top-of-the-line video card, check out AthlonXP.com's review of the Albatron FX 5200, which is an NVIDIA based card.

If a Gigabyte of dual channel DDR RAM seems like something you could live with, I suggest checking out 3DExtreme.org's review of the Corsair XMS3700 TwinX 1 GB package. Just remember, having a lot of RAM in your computer doesn't make you cool, unless you use it.

Slashdot.org has an article posted about some research Microsoft is doing with Inkblot Passwords. The Microsoft page it links too has been 'spotty' for me (12:30 PST), but it could be fine now. Here's an expert from the article. Adam Stubblefield, an intern with Microsoft Research, thought that our ability to tell ourselves unique stories about inkblots might be a secret key to a strong digital lock - the online password. Pretty cool stuff! However, I can remember complex random passwords and I do!

More Mobile Water Cooling |

I found this over at slashdot: apparently NEC has developed a water cooling notebook module. This is something Toshiba had done a while back, but in my opinion, this one sounds like it is much better. How it performs is another thing, but it is still pretty cool.
