iCute Acrylic Stand
Another review of the iCute Acrylic Stand has been posed at GideonTech. Personally, I find the functional aspect of the stand useful (keeping your case off the carpet). I don't really care much that it lights up though; but, to each his own. If you plan on buying this product, I would check out this review first as it might provide some insight on misleading packaging.

The Register has the info on a Massachusetts courts ruling that pushes back the hopes of the RIAA. The RIAA was trying to run a centralized subpoena, and the courts said, NO WAY. Here's a tidbit from the article:

"Through my testing of this particular motherboard, the system was unreliable, the BIOS couldn't be updated and would reset itself when ever it wanted, the SATA would not work through the southbridge and the overclocking and overall performance was substandard when compared to an equally equipped motherboard from another manufacturer."
Maybe this is a board to avoid.
